Liz Marshall RDN, LD, CEDS

Hi! I'm Liz Marshall, registered dietitian and certified eating disorder specialist (CEDS). I am passionate about working with those recovering from disordered eating, emotional eating, and healing from chronic dieting. I use a non-diet approach to wellness and fully believe that health cannot be captured by a number. In my weight-inclusive practice, I help individuals rediscover the joy of eating and foster a healthier relationship with food and body. I assist individuals in incorporating Intuitive Eating principles, joyful movement, and encourage them to embrace a Health at Every Size® concept.

Education and Experience

I am a registered dietitian licensed in the state of Texas and hold a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Nebraska. I completed my dietetic internship at Abilene Christian University and went on to become a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). This credential sets health professionals apart as we have met rigorous educational requirements, accumulated a minimum number of hours of qualifying work experience, and made a commitment to be up-to-date on current development through the field in continuing education.

I have experience in both the outpatient setting, as well as residential and partial hospitalization eating disorder treatment. As well was, extensive experience working with clients of all ages that struggle with a variety of eating issues, including, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, ARFID, and disordered eating. My passion and expertise in the Eating Disorder field has led me to complete all requirements to receive the CEDS (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist) title through IAEDP (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.

I am an active member of the Dallas Fort Worth dietetic and eating disorder community. This includes the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians (IFEDD), and the DFW Chapter of IAEDP, where I currently hold the position of Marketing Co-Chair.

I can't even begin to explain what a positive impact Liz Marshall has made in my search for better health. I have had an unhealthy relationship with food for many years, and at times it has been difficult to change my ideas that were developed in the past to new and more healthy eating behaviors. Liz is one of the kindest people I have ever known, and I believe she truly cares about the people with whom she works.

I have LOVED working with Elizabeth Marshall! She is so kind and personable, while pushing me to put in the work to meet my goals. She is wonderful working with people like myself who struggle with eating disorders. She is knowledgeable and will positively challenge me when my eating disorder creeps into our time together, rather than challenge me in a way that perpetuates shame. I can tell that Liz also greatly cares about her clients more than just about food, because she takes time to engage with me and who I am as a person while incorporating the nutrition aspect to fit into me and my lifestyle.
